The 3.3 version of RefinedWiki Original Theme is a BIG release including a new design, keyboard navigation 2.0, user dashboards with Skype, HipChat and Twitter integration. We are also including a Twitter macro and a new User Details macro.
Introducing a new design
Introducing a new design called Sharp. It's a space efficient, strict and yet colorful design. Customize it to match your company colors, it's just a click away!
User dashboards
The new user dashboard includes user details, activities, status updates and your personal network. Your Skype and HipChat status is displayed and your Twitter feed can be integrated with your Confluence status updates. We have connected the user dashboard to the default Confluence user settings with a new menu located on the left hand side.
Keyboard navigation 2.0
The new keyboard navigation menu makes keyboard shortcuts easy to use for everyone and it's super fast. Press and hold n to show the keyboard navigation menu, use the arrows to navigate to an option and release to execute your choice. The keyboard navigation menu will adjust itself depending on what kind of content you are currently viewing. You can navigate the category menu, page tree, activity stream, to name some of the features. Why not try it right now? Press n to get started.
Twitter macro
Display tweets from a user or a hashtag search and integrate it with status updates from Confluence.
User Details macro
Display user contact details including Skype and HipChat. You can directly make a call or start a chat session by clicking on the Skype buttons.

The design editor

- HTML and velocity code can be added to the top and the bottom of the wiki content.
- Stylesheets and scripts can be uploaded and edited.
- Images and other resources can be uploaded and used.
- Designs can be exported and imported into other Confluence instances that are using the Original Theme

Dealing with new versions of Confluence
When new versions of Confluence are released we make sure the RefinedWiki Original Theme is compatible. This means that your custom design also will be compatible. Note: If Atlassian release a new feature in Confluence we make sure that it works with the Original Theme and you may need to add some CSS code to make it match your design entirely.

RefinedWiki Original Theme 3.1 is one of our biggest releases so far. It includes a lot of new features and improvements for end users and admins. In this blog post I will talk about the biggest news of this release.
Create blogs
The new blog mode allows you to turn a space blog in to a "real" blog in terms of behavior and design. The look and feel can easily be customized and sharing to Twitter, Facebook and Google is just a click away. The blogs are easy to access through the new namespace: www.yourwiki.com/blog. The blog post navigation is improved with a new calendar and next / previous buttons.
News macro improvements
The news macro(rw-news) can be set to display blog post from only published blogs. We have also added a new feature which allow users to read blog posts in a popup without leaving a page.
Categories
The core of RefinedWiki Original Theme is categories. In this release we have made three big category improvements.
- Category and space logos can now be displayed in the menu.
- An automatic horizontal scroll will appear when there are too many categories.
- Introducing a dynamic category mode. The size of the drop down will adjust to the number of subcategories and spaces in each category.
Activity Stream
The activity stream is now accessible from any page in the wiki. You find it in the top menu or by the keyboard shortcut A (shift + a).
Improved admin UI
The admin UI is more solid and consistent. All sorting is done with drag and drop. This makes it much faster and easier to work with.
