1. Introducing subcategories
You can now organize your spaces into categories and subcategories.
2. Improved performance of the news on dashboard functionality
The news on dashboard functionality is now based on labels. This will speed up the performance. We have also added new parameters to the rw-news macro.

I just test this new feature but I don't see any subcategories comming under the categories. Is there any macro necessary to show this subcategories.

Hi, the subcategories are only visible if you have assign any spaces to them. To assign a space to a subcategory goto: Space Admin > Change Category
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks for providing this nice feature.
How can I arrange that subcategories do open collapsed instead of expanded?

Hi Klaus, You can use a macro parameter called closed. You find more info here.

Hi,
that works!
If I now have one space above the subcategory underneath the category it appears on screen at bottom.
How do I arrange that a space above a "subspace" logically appears above the "subspace" to get a space-tree at least for two levels based on their hierarchy.
I use it for divisions and subdivisions - each with their own space.

At the moment there is no function to have categories over the subcategories. I have added this functionality to our wishlist.

to express what I suggested:
Spaces that belongs to categories should not appear underneath the subcategories. They should appear – as it would be in a tree view – according to their hierarchy. As it is a space belonging to a category does show up underneath the tree of the subcategory.
If changed to hierarchy tree view might solve the need for some nice guys of having subspaces, as listed in the wishlist.
